Phantom Tollboot
The Downtown Youth & Culture Center, a project of the MacArthur Park Foundation, is a new center that provides inner city youth access to tutoring, mentoring and character building programs. This access is made possible through the generous donations of community stakeholders like you.
Our goal is to establish a sustainable community-based organization and cultural destination that serves the greater Los Angeles area and visitors.
Our mission is to provide cultural, environmental, and social justice education, based on character building, cultural exchange, and community involvement.
We need to rapidly raise $20,000 to cover our last month's rent, purchase art supplies, music instruments, theater lights, computers and convert the corner dirt lot into a parking lot to help sustain rent and building maintenance costs.
A $250.00 donation qualifies for an I.R.S. Tax Deductible Contribution. All donors will be recognized on our website, e-newsletter, all promotional material, and media communication efforts.
