50mm Los Angeles is LA's first and longest running graffiti art website established in 1996 by Too Tall Jahmal and Unit One a veteran LA graf artist. The site began as a school project in website design but quickly became popular as a source for LA graffiti photography. Over the years it's had many design changes and hosting solutions... This is the most advanced version to date thanks to our individual and company sponsors.
50mm Los Angeles is dedicated to photography, writings, street art, the history of the LA graf movement, extremist marketers, artists and general mayhem. If you have an article you'd like to publish about graf history, or a story about one of LA's legendary writers...please don't hesitate to Contact Usabout it.
50mm has always maintained a policy of neutrality when it comes to crews, artists, etc. Beef comes and goes so it's not the duty of this website to decide who is right or wrong or to take sides.... So don't ask us to remove photos or posts in the forum! All this site intends to do is document shit.
When a 50mm user has proven to make quality contributions time after time, that person will be given the option to become an editor to the site. Editors enjoy advanced priviledges including the ability to upload straight to the gallery.

To use all the features of this site you need to register as a user. Registered users can post to the forum, submit flicks to be approved into the gallery, and submit events to be featured in the events section.
