Los Angeles, CA (July 26, 2013) – Inkstainz and SB Battle are proud to
present THE BATTLE FOR LOS ANGELES, a graffiti crew battle taking place
August 3rd, 2013 at The Graff Lab located at 1038 Venice Blvd in Los
Angeles.
THE BATTLE FOR LOS ANGELES will allow 13 of LA’s top legendary graffiti
crews to battle under the same roof for a chance to win a $1000 cash prize and
bragging rights. The objective for this Graffiti battle will focus on letters as the
main subject matter; contestant can only use two different tones of colors of
Silvers and Blues, no characters, no futuristic details or animation; only lettering.
The art will be judged on the above mentioned guidelines by a trio of Graffiti
legends.
Food, drinks and vendors will be available through the event. Live musical
performances will include some of the best in LA Underground Hip Hop.
Confirmed to appear are: AWOL ONE, GELREC, JROZ, DESTRUCT, RAWZ,
NYKWILL, ABSTRACT RUDE & JUAQUIN DANIELS (RYME SAYERS, KTF)
PHENIX (UNDERGROUND ASSASINS) LONGEVITY (PROJECT BLOWED
O.G.) and FAWKSIE (N.E.L.A.)
