Fair Treatment fr Farm Workers!!!
Dear Supporter:
The farmworker 13 day march to Sacramento is growing each day and going strong! (today is day 9), below is some info. I wanted to see if you can help us with sharing the news with your network and help us get a delegation from the Central Valley to attend? Please let me know. We have a couple of bus locations on Sunday e.g. Bakersfield, Fresno, Madera, etc.

Information:
California farm workers are braving 100-degree temperatures on a 13-day, 200-mile peregrinacion (pilgrimage) up the Central Valley to Sacramento, dubbed the Fair Treatment for Farm Workers Now march. It started on Aug. 23 in Madera and ends at the state Capitol on
Sunday, Sept. 4, Labor Day weekend, joined by thousands of farm workers.
As a leader and key organizer we need your support one more time. Can you help us take a delegation from the Central Valley area to the Sunday Rally on September 4th.
Sunday, September 4th
10AM: Southside Park, located at T Street & 8th St.
12PM: Capitol, North steps-cross streets are L Street & 11th
These are some ways you can organize and help farm workers this week:
- Please share the attached flyer on your organization/personal facebook page
- Take at least 5 other supporters on Sunday
- Make a poster to represent your school or organization
