As a contributing editor for 50mm Los Angeles, Jayleen uploads events selections, transcribes interviews with graff writers, and writes articles.
Jayleen is also a contributing editor for The History of Los Angeles Graffiti Art, Volume One, and Volume Two (available Spring 2008).
L.A. born and bred, and inspired by notorious local writer, CHAKA, Jayleen's graff-writing experience includes the L.A. River (LA CHINITA/JAY LOCA LMLS13, c. 1982–1983) and Joe Peeps in North Hollywood. She has photographed graffiti in faraway places, such as, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mainland China, and CPH/Denmark, to name a few.
