Bob Ross resides in the affluent neighborhood of Long Beach on the border of Compton. One can guess what the houses are going for there. Mr. Ross was first drawn to graffiti when he and the homies would travel to the beach on a 4 hour bus ride throughout Long Beach seeing all the Chaka tags up and down the Blvd along the way. From that day Ross knew he would always be in the shit some how. Ross attempted to imitate what he saw but 2 arrests put a serious stick in his spokes. So Bob went to work in other arenas and put graffiti behind him until a trip to Market street in San Francisco in the mid 90\'s had reintroduced him to what he had been missing. This time instead of picking up a can, he picked up a camera. 6000 flicks later he has captured a significant piece of this city\'s vast expanse of graffiti art. realizing in the end, that's all he ever wanted to do.
