The goal is to raise awareness amongst all road users about issues such as rights, rules, safety, and road courtesy in relation to bicycles. All we need now, is your awesome slogans to steer the campaign.<br /> <br /> Enter the Bike Safety Slogan Contest and the winning slogan will be transformed into a design by <a href="http://www.championdontstop.com/"><b>Geoff McFetridge</b></a>, an internationally acclaimed graphic designer, visual artist, and an avid LA cyclist.<br /> <br /> Prize for the winning slogan will be provided by <b><a href="http://orange20bikes.com/">Orange 20 Bikes.</a></b></p> <p><strong>DEADLINE FOR ENTRY: WEDNESDAY MAY 5th at 5pm!<br /> </strong><br /> <font face="helvetica"><b>Some Try to keep Your slogan between 1 and 10 words. We need your message to be legible to people that are zooming by.</p> <p>2. The winning safety slogan will be seen by all road users but we are primarily interested in getting our ideas over to drivers, who may not be aware of the rights of cyclists and the hazards that we face.</p> <p>3. The winning slogan will be chosen by a panel of judges chaired by members of the LAPD, City of LA, LACBC and MidnightRidazz.com The decision of the panel is final.</p> <p>4. The approved winning slogan will be used in a poster designed by Geoff McFetritge. If you submit a sketch, it may or may not be used as a reference by the designer.</p> <p>5. The submission deadline is Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 5pm.</p> <p>6. If two or more contestants submit the same or similar winning slogan, the earliest submission will be considered the winner.</p> <p>7.
